Godwin Pictures was really birthed more than 20 years ago when at age 23 (around 2001) I realized that Hollywood was not what it seemed.
Back then the group I formed in Melbourne, Australia was called 'Media Connect', whose purpose it was to gather all the artists in Melbourne that wanted to produce content to push back on the secular narrative that was invading the hearts and minds of the culture through arts and entertainment.
Who, but God, could have foreseen the challenges we now face? The world literally teetering on the edge. Without me knowing, that was all preparation for what we are doing here, now, in Hollywood.
It would be easy to think that it's all too late, and that's exactly how my carnal mind is tempted to think - shouldn't this have happened decades ago? - but God has undoubtedly bought us together at THIS time to fight THIS battle, NOW. If He doesn't think it's too late, then it's not.
If you're reading this, then I KNOW that He has prepared you in a special way to fight this battle with us. So join with us, commit to the battle, and fight till the end. What has the Lord got in store for us? Only time will tell. But we know that He wins (God-wins) in the end, so that's enough for me!
